PHYSIOTHERAPY IN PECTUS CARINATUM
In contrast to pectus excavatum, bad posture is rarely found in PC. If detected, it is usually due to poor dorsal muscles. This is why intensive physiotherapy is recommended prior to the bracing to avoid unintended compression of the orthosis on the upper abdomen and malfunctioning of the brace.
